TANNING AND MANUFACTURING
This leather, with a very marked well-worn effect, is carried out on backs (back of the animal). It is chrome tanned and undergoes a following vegetable re-tanning, that gives leather a texture and an aspect that are very close to hide. Then, after the aniline dying process, the article is treated and worked with oils, natural waxes and transparent dying agents, and finally it is completely hand-scratched, in order to get the vintage well-worn effect.
MAINTENANCE
Mali leather doesn’t require particular attentions. Given to the vintage effect, it is enough to use a soft brush and wipe the leather’s surface with a slightly dampened cloth.
